What is your pet policy?
We understand that pets are beloved family members, and we know how difficult it can be to leave them behind. To maintain the peaceful environment that all our guests come to enjoy, and to respect those with allergies, The Taylor Ranch maintains a pet-free environment. We’ve made this decision to ensure every guest can fully relax and enjoy their retreat experience. We’re happy to provide recommendations for excellent local pet boarding facilities or trusted pet sitters in the area if that would be helpful for your planning.
Where are you located?
We’re nestled in Hattiesburg, MS, offering easy accessibility while maintaining the tranquil atmosphere our guests cherish.
What are your check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is at 3:00 PM and check-out is at 11:00 AM. If you need different arrangements, please contact us in advance and we’ll do our best to accommodate your needs.
How much does it cost to stay?
There is no cost to stay at the Taylor Ranch because we are supported by generous partners and organizations. We host ministry leaders, pastors, and missionaries and their families for up to five days at no cost.
Why do we do this?
We understand the invisible weight ministry families carry—the late-night calls, the shared grief, and the constant pressure to be strong for others. You pour out constantly, but rarely have a place to simply rest and breathe. That’s why we opened The Taylor Ranch. We wanted to create a sanctuary where ministry leaders can stay completely free of charge. No schedules, no expectations—just a quiet, peaceful space for your soul to recover in the beauty of nature. We have seen leaders arrive exhausted and leave renewed, and it is our honor to be part of that restoration.
How do I make a reservation?
You can request dates for your stay by clicking here. Submitting your request does not confirm your stay. We will follow up to confirm or deny your requested dates based on availability and guest qualifications.
What qualifies someone to be a guest at The Taylor Ranch?
The Taylor Ranch hosts pastors, missionaries, and ministry leaders. Those in vocational Christian ministry who align with our Statement of Beliefs may make requests to stay.
